Our story: inspired by the Bay of Islands
Island Getaways is proudly owned and operated by a local tour guide, nestled within the stunning Bay of Islands, York Harbour. Our goal is to provide an authentic Newfoundland experience, sharing the rich culture, breathtaking scenery, and renowned local hospitality. The charming island cottage on Governor's Island, built by local people, was developed into a rental by the new owner in 2022.
